The international workshop, "LifeSprings", was held on 16-18 December 2019 at Misasa. In the workshop, the participants made interdisciplinary discussions actively, to define a future direction of a sample-return exploration on Mars to search for life on a planet other than Earth. The workshop was supported by Okayama University, the University of New South Wales and BHP.
